Shawn Dumser

Shawn Dumser has a strong work experience in the field of technology. Shawn started their career in 1999 as a Software Engineer/Developer at Alcatel-Lucent, where they worked for nine years. Following that, they joined Goodman Networks in 2008 as a Senior Network Integration Engineer and remained with the company until 2014. Shawn then moved to Verizon, where they held the role of System Engineer for five years. Currently, they are working at Onica as a Senior Cloud Engineer, a position they began in July 2019.

Shawn Dumser obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from DeVry Institute of Technology (DeVry University) between 1996 and 1999. Later, from 2001 to 2003, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at the Illinois Institute of Technology.

In addition to their education, Shawn Dumser has obtained several certifications. In July 2019, they became an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Following this, in December 2020, they obtained their AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate certification. In June 2021, Shawn Dumser obtained their HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate certification from HashiCorp. Continuing their certifications, in May 2022, they became an AWS Certified Developer - Associate. Finally, in May 2023, Shawn Dumser achieved the highest level of certification as an Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect - Professional from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
