Whitney Dodman

Whitney Dodman has extensive work experience in various roles related to DevOps engineering and application support. Whitney started their career at Clarica, where they performed tasks in end user computing and support positions. Whitney then worked at Symcor as an Application Developer and Support Analyst. After that, they joined TELUS as a Sr. Middleware Consultant, followed by a role as a Senior Middleware Consultant at 7078277 CANADA INC. Whitney then worked as a Systems Administrator at QuickPlay Media, where they provided solutions for managing mobile video delivery. After that, they worked at BAE Systems Applied Intelligence as an Application Support Engineer. Most recently, they joined Onica as a DevOps Engineer. In this role, they have received positive feedback for their work and has been encouraged to excel. In between these roles, they also had a temporary engagement as an AWS DevOps for i100 Inc., where they designed and supported a multi-tiered application environment in the AWS cloud. Throughout their career, Whitney has gained experience in various technologies and has demonstrated their ability to manage and support complex systems.

Whitney Dodman obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from Western University, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. In addition to their degree, Whitney has also obtained several certifications in Amazon Web Services (AWS). They became an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA) in December 2019, and also achieved the certifications of Amazon Web Services Developer - Associate from both Linux Academy and Amazon Web Services (AWS) in February 2020. Whitney also holds the title of AWS Certified Developer - Associate, which they obtained in February 2020.
