Timo Panke

Timo Panke has extensive work experience in various roles within the energy and business development sectors. Timo currently serves as a Finance Lead at ONIQ GmbH since October 2020. In their previous role, they were the Head of Business Development at ATHION GmbH from January 2019 to March 2020. Prior to that, Timo worked as a Manager of Business Development at ATHION GmbH from August 2016 to December 2018. Timo also has experience as a Senior Energy Economist at MVV Energie AG from May 2014 to June 2016. Timo held the position of Consultant and Research Associate at the Institute of Energy Economics (EWI), University of Cologne from September 2010 to April 2014. Timo has also worked as an Energy Analyst at the International Energy Agency from May 2013 to July 2013 and from July 2012 to November 2012. Furthermore, Timo gained teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant at the Universität zu Köln from June 2009 to September 2010. Timo began their career as a Diploma Thesis holder at RWE AG from August 2008 to January 2009.

Timo Panke completed their education in Economics. Timo obtained their Ph.D. in Economics, or Dr. rer. pol., from the University of Cologne, where they studied from 2009 to 2016. Prior to that, they pursued a Diploma in Economics at the University of Münster from 2003 to 2009. In 2006-2007, they also attended Sapienza Università di Roma, focusing on Economics. Additionally, in October 2016, Timo Panke earned a certification in Machine Learning from Stanford University, which was offered on Coursera.
