Jean Yang is a seasoned legal and business professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. At MinterEllisonRuddWatts, Jean served as a lawyer from February 2016 to December 2017. Following that, Jean was a founding executive member at LegalTechNZ from August 2017 to March 2022 and invested in women-led ventures at ArcAngels NZ during the same period. Jean led services sales and marketing enablement at Microsoft in 2013-2014. Jean's role as COO and VP of Legal Services at McCarthyFinch spanned from March 2017 to November 2020, culminating in the company's acquisition by Onit, where Jean currently serves as VP and co-founder of the AI Center of Excellence since October 2020. Jean holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) from The University of Auckland, as well as a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in Intellectual Property Law from the University of Oslo.
