David Byrd

David Byrd is an accomplished Data Protection Architect and Engineer with extensive experience in backup solutions and systems engineering. Currently employed at Ocwen Financial Corporation since October 2016, David has been pivotal in designing and implementing data protection strategies, including Veeam 9.0 for VMware environments. Previous roles include architecting a new backup enterprise at Altisource and managing backup operations at Ocwen Financial Solutions - APAC and Ally Financial Inc. David's career spans over two decades, beginning as a Senior Network Administrator at Nortel Networks, where foundational backup and recovery services were established. David holds a degree in Network Technologies from Southern Methodist University and a B.A. in History from The Master's University.
