Celma Pires

Celma Pires is a finance leader with over 24 years of experience in the finance sector. After beginning their career as a Senior Auditor at Ernst & Young, Celma contributed to the development of EDF's renewable energy arm in Portugal and held various key finance roles at EDP, ultimately serving as the Head of Global Corporate Treasury. In 2025, Celma transitioned to the telecom industry as CFO at Onivia, where they lead financial strategy and support digital transformation initiatives. Additionally, since 2012, Celma has shared their expertise as an invited professor of Project Finance at the University of Oviedo, fostering the next generation of finance professionals. Celma holds an MBA from Columbia University/INDEG and a graduate degree in Management from ISEG-UTL.
