Onix
Eric Hole is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in cloud-native engineering and Kubernetes architecture. Currently serving as VP of Cloud Native Engineering at Onix, Eric has contributed extensively to open-source software, particularly in cloud-native infrastructure, and has been closely involved with the Kubernetes project since 2017.
Prior to Onix, Eric spent over 6 years at Google providing technical guidance to many of the company's largest customers, helping them accelerate Kubernetes adoption and scale into the cloud. His work spanned observability, automation, operational readiness, and scale management.
Before joining Google, Eric spent 2 years in the SRE/DevOps trenches as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at ReactiveOps (now Fairwinds). Earlier in his career, he supported academic/research computing workloads at Yale University, authored software with several startups, and at one point, even ran a French restaurant.
Eric holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Connecticut.
