Heather Larson, PhD, is a seasoned Learning Designer currently working at Onlea since April 2022, where responsibilities include maximizing project learning outcomes, mentoring a team, and ensuring high-quality online experiences. As an Assistant Adjunct Professor at the University of Alberta since March 2019, Heather maintains an active research profile while holding a postdoctoral fellowship that involved conceptualizing studies and analyzing both qualitative and quantitative data. Previous roles include instructional design positions at Xpan Interactive Ltd. and the Canadian Association of Radiologists, contributing to the development of eLearning modules and course redesigns. Heather has extensive teaching experience at the University of Alberta and has coached competitive swimmers. Educated at the University of Alberta, Heather holds a PhD in Sport Psychology, an MA in Sport Psychology, and degrees in Physical Education and Graduate Teaching and Learning.
