Simon Buil has a diverse background in both the hospitality and educational sectors. Simon began a career in the restaurant industry, initially working as a dishwasher and advancing to roles as a bartender and waiter at Restaurant Bellevue from January 2013 to July 2017, and later serving as a bartender and bar supervisor at Stan&Co from February 2020 to April 2022. Transitioning to academia, Simon worked as a Third Year Student Assistant at University Utrecht and as a Junior Teacher in Psychology at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, engaging in teaching, thesis supervision, and curriculum development from October 2021 to September 2024. Currently, Simon serves as a Data Insight Expert at Online Dialogue, focusing on website optimization and data analysis since March 2025. Educational qualifications include a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Applied Cognitive Psychology, both from University Utrecht, as well as an advanced English qualification from the University of Cambridge.
