Andy Lushman

Andy Lushman has a strong background in software engineering, with their most recent role as a Senior Software Engineer at OnlineDoctor starting in August 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Guild Education from December 2020 to July 2021, and as a Software Engineer from October 2019 to December 2020. Before entering the software engineering field, Andy worked as a Software Developer/Mendix Consultant at TimeSeries, The Smart App company from July 2017 to June 2018. Andy also has experience in the education sector, having worked as a founding Physical Education Teacher at Denver Public Schools from 2016 to 2017, and as a founding Athletic/Enrichment Director at the International School of Denver from 2014 to 2016. Additionally, they served as an Athletic Director at Aspen Academy in 2013. Andy's work experience also includes roles as a Health Educator & Coordinator of the HiTOPS Teen Council at Hitops Inc from 2011 to 2013, and as an Information Technology (IT) & Language Support Specialist at Xiamen International School from 2010 to 2011. Andy started their career in education as a Health & Physical Education Teacher/Department Head at Leysin American School in Switzerland, where they also worked as an Information Technology/Physical Education Intern.

Andy Lushman holds a Bachelor of Physical Education (Honors) degree in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from Memorial University of Newfoundland, which they completed in 2007. Andy then pursued a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in International Education from Endicott College, which they completed in 2010. In 2017, they obtained a Full Stack Web Development Certification from the University of Denver. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Mendix Rapid Developer from Mendix in 2018, Professional Teaching Certification from the Colorado Department of Education in 2017, and a University of Denver Coding Certification in 2017.
