Sam Syal

Sam Syal has extensive experience in regulatory engineering and compliance. They have held various leadership positions in engineering services and compliance engineering at companies like OnLogic, Cree Lighting, Wolfspeed, Cree, and Hatco Corporation. Their roles have involved managing global teams, leading product safety submittals and testing, and overseeing labs accredited by various regulatory agencies. They have also been responsible for developing regulatory strategies, expanding geographic footprints, and establishing business partnerships with external agencies. Prior to their industry experience, Sam Syal worked at Underwriters Laboratories in project engineering and sales support management roles. They have a strong background in product investigations, standards compliance, and training. Throughout their career, Sam Syal has demonstrated a dedication to ensuring the launch of safe, high-quality, and reliable products.

Sam Syal attended Enloe High School from 1986 to 1989. After graduating from high school, they went on to study at North Carolina State University from 1989 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
