John Spiers is a serial entrepreneur based in Boulder, CO. He co-founded venture-backed LeftHand Networks, a market leader in virtualized, scale-out data storage, and served as LeftHand’s Chief Technology Officer. In 2010 John co-founded NexGen Storage, developing the market’s first data storage system architected for flash memory, and served as NexGen’s CEO.
John was named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Award finalist in 2005 & 2006, and was selected by Boulder Chamber of Commerce for the Esprit Entrepreneur of Distinction award in 2006. John is a graduate from Colorado State University with a degree in Engineering.
