Alberto Bec

Alberto Bec has a diverse work experience in the software development field. Alberto began their career at Intuicode in 2006, where they developed Win Forms applications for credit/debit and check processing in casinos. Alberto then worked at ADC as a web developer, focusing on reporting and payment processing features for a client management and billing system. Alberto also had a brief consultant role at Liberty Power.

In 2007, Alberto joined Dell as an applications developer, where they migrated licensing systems and maintained a C++ COM library for license validation. Alberto worked on rewriting the library as a cross-platform static library with wrappers for C, .NET, and Delphi.

From 2014 to 2015, Alberto worked as a software engineer at Matomy Media Group, maintaining and extending C# services in the mass mailing infrastructure. Alberto also played a key role in migrating mail aggregation services to a distributed queuing system using RabbitMQ and C# micro-services.

From 2015 to 2016, Alberto worked at GL Homes as a software developer, implementing a Microsoft Dynamics CRM system and building a reporting system that combined data from CRM and other systems. Alberto also contributed to automated deployments across multiple CRM environments.

Alberto joined Matomy in 2016 as a senior software engineer and later became a technical lead. Alberto led the implementation of a new reporting system, handled the transition of campaign management and mailing infrastructure to a new ad network, and consolidated multiple legacy AngularJS/ASP systems.

In 2018, Alberto joined OnPoint as a senior software engineer. Finally, in 2019, they started working at Micro Focus (formerly HP / Hewlett Packard Enterprise) as a senior software engineer.

Alberto Bec's education history includes attending PC Professor in 2005, where they pursued a degree in Developer and studied VB .Net, ASP .Net, and MSSQL. Prior to that, from 2003 to 2005, they attended Palm Beach Community College, specializing in Computer Science. During this time, they focused on subjects such as A+, Network+, and Business Accounting.
