Brock Smith

Brock Smith has a diverse range of work experience starting from 2017. Brock is currently working at OnScale, an Ansys Company, where they started as a Software Developer in July 2021 and then advanced to the role of Senior Software Developer in March 2023. At OnScale, they contributed to the design and development of a cloud orchestration tool for physics simulations and also developed CICD tools and a platform-wide testing framework.

Prior to OnScale, Brock worked as an Information Technology Intern at cxLoyalty in 2020 and as a Java Developer Intern at OneTrust in the same year. In 2019, they gained experience as a DevOps Intern at Markel.

Brock's work experience also includes their role as a Website Developer at TrePadges Inc. from June 2017 to March 2019. Brock also worked as a Website Developer at Durrette, Arkema, Gerson & Gill PC from December 2017 to February 2018, and at Clear Trail Real Estate from November 2017 to January 2018. Additionally, they served as a Research Intern at Virginia Commonwealth University - College of Engineering from June 2017 to August 2017.

Brock Smith completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2018 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained an Advanced High School Diploma from Deep Run High School between 2014 and 2018. In addition to their formal education, Brock has obtained certifications in Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner and Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in January and March of 2022, respectively.
