Ian Campbell

Ian Campbell is currently the CEO at OnScale. Prior to this, they were the Chief Solutions Officer (CSO) at NextInput from January 2012 to April 2017, where they recruited a rockstar management team and new CEO from Maxim/InvenSense. Their responsibilities shifted to managing all R&D and product development related to NextInput's ForceTouch solutions. Ian also recruited a world-class team of engineers and scientists, and secured first major smartphone OEM design wins in Asia. Qorvo (QRVO) acquired NextInput in 2021.

From June 2008 to May 2010, Ian worked as a Senior Consultant at Value Prism specializing in IT driven business process improvement. Prior to that, they were a Senior Consultant at Booz Allen from June 2007 to August 2007, where they worked with the biometrics strategy group serving DoD and other federal government clients. Ian also worked with the Human Systems Integration (HSI) group to build a PSO around HSI for consumption by DoD clients.

Ian Campbell also has experience as CEO of CampbellKlein, LLC, and as a Mechanical Engineer and Standards Engineer at Wright Industries from May 2003 to December 2005.

Ian Campbell earned their MBA from the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business with a focus on strategy, operations, private equity, and entrepreneurship. Ian also holds a MSAE from the Georgia Institute of Technology in aerospace engineering and a BS in mechanical engineering from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). Ian is also certified by Onshape as a Certified Onshape Professional, Onshape Fundamentals: CAD, and Managed In-Context Design.
