Michael R.

Michael R. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in machine learning engineering, advisory, data science, teaching, and research. Currently, they are serving as the Director of Machine Learning Engineering at Anno.Ai, where they are responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining machine learning software. Additionally, they manage the Machine Learning Engineering team. Michael is also an Executive Advisor on the Technical Advisory Board at Interos Inc.

Prior to their current roles, Michael worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Kensho Technologies for four years, from 2017 to 2020. Before that, they gained extensive experience in the US Intelligence Community as a Senior Data Scientist and Intelligence Analyst for nine years.

Michael also has a teaching background, having served as an Adjunct Faculty at Lake Forest College, City Colleges of Chicago-Harry S Truman College, and Oakton Community College. Michael was also an Instructor and Teaching Assistant at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

In addition, Michael has worked as a Faculty Member at Mount Carmel High School and as a Research Associate at Economists Incorporated. Overall, their work experience demonstrates their expertise in machine learning, data science, teaching, and research.

Michael R. began their education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1998, where they studied Political Science and Government. However, they transferred to Grinnell College in 2000 and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics in 2002. Michael then pursued a Master's degree in Quantitative Social Sciences at the University of Chicago from 2004 to 2005. Michael later decided to further their education in Mathematics and completed another Master's degree at the University of Illinois Chicago from 2006 to 2008.
