Adam Plotkin has extensive work experience in the field of dermatology. Adam began their career as a Physician at Palm Beach Dermatology Group in 1997. In 2006, they took on the role of Chief Medical Officer at both Integrated Dermatology Group and OnSite Dermatology. The exact end dates for their roles are unknown.

Adam Plotkin attended the University of Pittsburgh from 1983 to 1987, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience. Adam then went on to study at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine from 1987 to 1992, obtaining their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in the field of Medicine. Following this, from 1992 to 1994, they attended Brown Medical School for their studies in Internal Medicine. Lastly, from 1994 to 1997, they completed a Dermatology Residency Program at Wright State University.
