Chris Zammit

Chris Zammit has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a .NET Developer Intern at Spirit AeroSystems in 2009. Chris was hired as a summer intern and later promoted to a cooperative education program. During this time, they worked alongside senior developers to develop new in-house business applications and upgraded a legacy distribution list management application.

In 2010, Chris joined CSC as a .NET Software Engineer. Chris worked on various web-based applications for tracking sales and inventory in the animal health industry. Chris led the development of a major enhancement to streamline data transfer and engineer a new web application using Silverlight RIA Services, JavaScript, and SQL Server. Chris also assisted in developing a new web application using ASP.NET MVC and SQL Server and increased performance through optimizing SQL queries. Additionally, Chris developed and maintained multiple product rebate reporting websites using ASP Classic, JavaScript, and IBM DB2.

From 2012 to 2016, Chris worked at CD2 Learning as a Senior Software Engineer. Chris was initially hired as the first on-site developer and quickly became an essential part of the core team. Chris worked closely with the CEO and CTO to lead the development life cycle of an LMS/CMS hybrid system. Chris architected and developed major enhancements to existing and new products, using the .NET stack and SQL Server.

Finally, Chris currently works at Onspring, where they started in 2017. Chris initially joined as a Senior Engineer of Software and Infrastructure and was later promoted to the role of Director of Engineering in May 2021.

Chris Zammit earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Wichita State University, where they studied from 2006 to 2010.
