Henok Adane

Henok Adane has over 12 years of work experience in various roles related to software development, machine learning, and security. Henok currently works as a software engineer at Ontada. Prior to that, they worked as a security automation engineer at Apple from 2016-2019. Henok also worked as a security consultant at Ericsson from 2013-2015 and as a software developer at Arada Services in 2012. Henok has also held research roles, including one as a visiting researcher at Eindhoven University of Technology in 2011 and another as a machine learning researcher at Aalto University School of Science and Technology from 2010-2011. Henok began their career as a web developer at FAHARI Oyj in 2008 and worked as a software developer at ABB in 2008-2009 and as a machine learning developer at Nokia in 2011.

Henok Adane received a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Bahir Dar University in 2005. From 2005 to 2009, they attended Metropolia University of Applied Sciences in Finland where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology. Henok then pursued an M.Sc. in Computer Science, specializing in Machine Learning and Data Mining, at Aalto University, School of Science from 2009 to 2012. In November 2014, they earned certification in TRANSITS-I from TERENA.
