Bart Jansen

Bart Jansen began their work experience in 1999 as a Researcher at VITO. Bart then joined Smidesign in 2004, where they served as Managing Partner until 2010. From 2008 to 2010, they worked at BECO as a Project Manager Cradle to Cradle. In 2011, Bart co-founded Studio Spark and served as the Managing Partner until 2016. Bart then joined Ontex in 2015 and held various roles, including Group Ecolabelling & LCA Specialist until 2020. Currently, Bart serves as the Lead Product Developer Sustainability at Ontex.

Bart Jansen has a Master's Degree in Integrated Product Development from the University of Antwerp, which they obtained from 1994 to 1999. Bart also completed a program in SME Management at Vlerick Business School from 2009 to 2010. In addition, they have a Certificate in Cradle to Cradle Design Consultant from EPEA, obtained in 2008. Bart Jansen completed their high school education in Science-Mathematics at Klein Seminarie Hoogstraten from 1988 to 1994. Bart also studied Industrial and Product Design at Escola Superior de Artes e Design, starting in 1996, but the end year is not specified. Furthermore, they have obtained a Lead Auditor ISO14001:2015 in Environmental Management from Bureau Veritas (Professional Certification) in 2017.
