Bart Waterschoot

Bart Waterschoot has extensive experience in sustainability and governance, currently serving as a member of the board of directors for Vereniging voor Openbaar Groen vzw and Miwa cv, and as Schepen for Public Works, Mobility, Green Spaces, Environment, and Sustainability for the Municipality of Waasmunster. As Group Sustainability & Product Stewardship Director at Ontex, alongside previous roles in sustainability and quality management, Bart combines practical experience with a strong academic background, including a Master's degree in Microbiology from Hogeschool Antwerpen and additional certifications in cosmetic product safety. Active in local governance since 2013, Bart has also held positions on various boards, demonstrating a commitment to public service and sustainability.
