Dr. Matthias Schulz

Dr. Matthias Schulz has a diverse work experience that includes positions in both the corporate and academic sectors. Dr. Matthias started their career at Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn, where they worked as a Wissenschaftliche Hilfskraft from September 2012 to November 2013. Dr. Matthias then became a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter in Forschung und Lehre at the same institution from November 2013 to October 2017.

In 2018, Dr. Schulz transitioned to the corporate sector and joined Ontex as a R&D Junior Product Developer in the Baby Care department. Dr. Matthias worked in this role from July 2018 to March 2019. Dr. Matthias then progressed to the role of Product Developer R&D Retail Brands Baby Care, where they worked from March 2019 to September 2021. From July 2021 to January 2023, they served as the Principal Product Developer within Ontex. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Design to Value at Ontex, starting in January 2023.

Dr. Matthias Schulz's work experience combines research and teaching in academia with product development roles in the corporate sector, showcasing their expertise and versatility in both areas.

Dr. Matthias Schulz received their Diplom in Chemie from The University of Bonn in 2013. Dr. Matthias then went on to complete their PhD, obtaining a Dr. rer. nat. in Chemie from The University of Bonn between 2013 and 2018. Additionally, they were a Gastdoktorand at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg from 2013 to 2017, and also at the Université de Montréal until 2015.
