Els Vanrijkelen

Els Vanrijkelen is an experienced procurement and finance professional with a robust career that spans over three decades. Since October 2016, Els has served as the Global Category Leader for Indirect Spend at Ontex, focusing on managing supplier relationships to ensure business continuity, growth, and cost reductions. Previously, as the Head of the Center of Excellence in Group Procurement, Els enhanced purchasing intelligence and oversaw M&A activities within the purchasing function. Prior to Ontex, Els held an interim and project management role at Adding Value BVBA, where assignments involved work with major companies such as bpost and Bayer Healthcare. Earlier experience includes various finance and controlling roles at Campbell Soup Company, as well as positions in management control at FOST Plus and auditing at Deloitte & Touche. Academic qualifications include studies at VLEKHO Business School Brussels, KU Leuven, and Economische Hogeschool Limburg.
