Oscar Paredes is a seasoned professional in regulatory affairs with extensive experience across multiple companies. Currently serving as the Group RA Manager for AMEAA at Ontex since October 2023, Paredes possesses a strong background in regulatory submissions and compliance gained from previous roles, including Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist at Cynosure, LLC and Regulatory Affairs Technical Leader at Avanos Medical. Proficient in managing technical and scientific regulatory activities, developing global regulatory strategies, and ensuring adherence to international regulations, Paredes has also held positions that involved quality assurance and regulatory compliance in the dental equipment sector. Educational qualifications include an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Computer Engineering Technology from Queensborough Community College and an ongoing Associate of Arts and Sciences in Mechanical Engineering at LaGuardia Community College, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical and Theological Studies from Instituto Teologico de las Asambleas de Dios del Paraguay.
