Roel Telamon

Roel Telamon has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. Roel started their career at RealDolmen as a Technical Support Engineer in 2000 and worked their way up to become a Network & Security Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for designing, building, and implementing network and security solutions. Roel also worked on presales, consultancy, and business development. Roel joined De Persgroep Publishing in 2016 as a Network & Security Engineer before moving on to Ontex in 2018. At Ontex, they first worked as a Network Security Specialist and later as an IT Team Lead for Network Services. Roel'sexperience spans over 20 years, showing their expertise in network engineering, security, and leadership.

Roel Telamon attended CVO-AALST from 2004 to 2007, where they obtained a degree in Informatica with an option in network management (EcHOKT). In terms of additional certifications, they have obtained the Azure Network Engineer Associate certification from Microsoft. Roel also holds certifications in various security and networking areas, including Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Check Point Certified Security Administrator (CCSA), Check Point Security Expert (CCSE), Citrix Certified Professional Networking (CCPN), Fortinet Certified Network Security Administrator (FCNSA), HP Accredited Integration Specialist (AIS) – Network Infrastructure, HP Accredited Systems Engineer (ASE) – Network Infrastructure, Microsoft Certified IT Professional: Enterprise Administrator (MCITP EA), and Vasco Certified Engineer Identikey Server (VCE).
