John Smith is a seasoned finance professional and entrepreneur with a diverse background in risk management, blockchain technology, and trading. As a Co-Founder at Ontik since July 2022, John Smith has been instrumental in establishing innovative financial solutions for businesses. Prior experience includes serving as Head of Risk at FIBR, where John Smith focused on enhancing financing options for small to medium enterprises, and co-founding LendFlo, a peer-to-peer invoice financing company built on Ethereum, which secured approximately £500k in venture capital before its acquisition by FIBR. John Smith has also worked as a blockchain consultant for Element ASA during its Iron Token launch and gained experience as a futures trader specializing in oil derivatives at LDN Capital. John Smith holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Investment from the University of Nottingham.
