Karien Pype has a strong background in marketing and leadership roles. Karien is currently serving as the VP of Marketing at ONTOFORCE. Prior to this, they held the position of Global VP of Marketing/Head of Marketing at iText Software, where they managed the marketing operations and strategies. Karien also worked as a Marketing Manager at Adagio, a marketing and technology company focused on marketing automation and multi-channel communication. Karien has also been involved in various professional communities and organizations such as HYPCCCYCL, SaaStr, Peak Community, Pavilion, and Product Marketing Alliance. Their experience spans across different industries including communication technology, banking software, and financial services solutions.

Karien Pype has a diverse educational background. Karien obtained a Master after Master degree in Business Communications from KU Leuven in 2002. Additionally, they completed a Post-university degree in Marketing Management at EHSAL from 2008 to 2010. Karien also holds a Master after Master degree in Cultural Studies from KU Leuven, completed in 2001. Earlier in their academic journey, they earned a Master of Arts (MA) in Germanic Languages from KU Leuven in 2000. Furthermore, they completed the Revenue Marketing University program in 2020, which focused on Revenue Marketing and Growth Marketing. Currently, Karien is pursuing an iText Mini-MBA program, which will be completed in 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Karien Pype has obtained several certifications in various areas. These certifications include courses such as "Building B2B Marketing" from MKT1, "Fundamentals of Finance and Accounting for Non-Financial Managers" from MCE - Management Centre Europe, "Building an Operational Marketing Plan" from Plannuh, and "Manage Your Budget & Measure ROI" from Plannuh. Karien has also completed the CMO School program from Pavilion and the CMO Foundations programs on LinkedIn, which covered topics like becoming an effective CMO and measuring marketing effectiveness (ROI).
