Stephen Maltas

Stephen Maltas is a seasoned professional in the medical device industry with extensive experience in product development, design control, and risk management. As Principal and Co-Founder at Ontogen Medtech since February 2021, Stephen leads efforts in product development across various medical device companies. Prior to this role, Stephen served as Principal Consultant at SKM Consulting and held key positions at Endotronix, Inc., where significant contributions included a comprehensive DHF overhaul of the Cordella Sensor System, which led to successful clinical milestones and funding achievements. Stephen's earlier career at Nanosphere involved leading design control and risk management initiatives and ascending through various engineering roles. Stephen holds a Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, awarded in 2006.
