Eric Hawkins

Eric Hawkins serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Ontra since September 2023, focusing on the development of an AI-powered technology platform for private markets. Prior to Ontra, Eric held various leadership roles at AppFolio, Inc., including Vice President of Engineering, where Eric managed the engineering team for AppFolio Investment Management. Eric's extensive experience includes significant contributions at Las Cumbres Observatory, leading efforts in robotic telescope engineering, and roles at Karl Storz Imaging, NSI Communications, and Hughes Space and Communications, where Eric developed software solutions for diverse technological applications. Eric holds both a Master’s degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
