Roger Slagle

Roger Slagle currently serves as a board member at OnTrack WNC, a position they have held since March of 2017. Prior to their current role, Slagle served as the Chief Financial Officer of Acme Lift Company from March 2014 to March 2017. In this role, they supervised the accounting, finance, and reporting functions of the business, which included raising capital, working with lenders in the maintenance of credit facilities, administering the annual budget and rolling forecasting process, and implementing strategic projects like expanding the company's product line-up. Roger also managed a team of six people, including the firm's director of information technology. Some of Slagle's significant projects during their time at Acme Lift Company include re-financing and recapitalizing the firm's capital structure and working with suppliers and strategic partners to expand the company's rental fleet.

Before their time at Acme Lift Company, Slagle served as corporate controller at Genova Diagnostics from April 2012 to April 2014. In this role, they were responsible for all aspects of financial reporting, treasury management, and risk management. Roger also oversaw the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures and worked closely with the CEO on long-term strategic planning.

From April 2005 to April 2012, Slagle served as director of finance for business development at Volvo Construction Equipment. In this role, they were responsible for leading the financial planning and analysis function for the company's global construction equipment business. Roger also worked closely with senior leadership

Dr. Roger Slagle is a business management and finance expert who has dedicated their career to education. Roger holds a PhD in business management from Capella University, as well as a Master of Accountancy and MBA from Western Carolina University. Roger also has a BSBA in business administration and law from Western Carolina University. In addition to their academic credentials, Dr. Slagle is also a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant - CGMA.
