Ryan Poolos has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Ryan started their career as a Resident Assistant at Campbell University in 2009. In 2010, they became the Lead Mobile Engineer at Red Metal Box. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as an iOS App Engineer at Super Duper Publications. In 2013, they joined BMW as a Lead iOS Engineer, where they led the development of several projects. In 2008, they became the Executive Vice President at MDS Web Studios, Inc., overseeing the design sector and heading marketing and press. In 2006, they founded PopArcade, a flash game publisher, where they managed all aspects of the business. Ryan then founded Frozen Fire Studios, Inc. in 2011, where they served as the CEO and Founder. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Technology Officer at Universe, where they lead the engineering team and focuses on building creative tools.
Ryan Poolos attended Overhills HighSchool from 2004 to 2008, where they did not receive a specific degree or study a particular field. Ryan then attended Campbell University from 2008 to 2010, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in History with Teaching Licensure. In 2011, they briefly attended Central Carolina Community College, receiving an Associates in Science degree in Computer Science Transfer.
