Mike Corkery

Mike Corkery, Deltek’s President and CEO, leads a global team of roughly 3,000 people toward the company’s mission of delivering superior enterprise software, information solutions and consulting services to project-based businesses. Since becoming CEO in November 2012, Deltek has more than doubled in size and now serves 30,000 customers across 80 countries around the world. Mike joined the company as its CFO in January 2010.

Before joining Deltek, Mike was the CFO and Acting CEO for ICO Global Communications and held various senior financial and operational executive positions for a variety of leading technology companies, including: CFO for Current Group; VP of Operations Finance for Nextel Communications; CFO for Berliner Communications; VP of Market Finance for XO Communications; and VP of Business Planning & Analysis for AT&T Wireless.

Mike earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from St. Bonaventure University and an Executive Leadership Development Certification from The McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University. In 2013, he was named Private Company CFO of the Year by Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC). Since becoming CEO at Deltek, he has been named twice (2015 and 2019) to the Wash100 list – a group of the Top 100 most influential leaders in the government contracting industry. Mike has also been named three times (2020 – 2022) as an NVTC Tech Executive honoree—one of the Greater Washington region’s groundbreaking leaders who demonstrates dedication, vision and innovation. In 2021 and 2022, Mike was included in the Virginia 500 Power List, which recognizes the most powerful and influential leaders in business, government, politics and education.

Mike currently serves as a Group Executive of Software at Roper Technologies. He is a Board Member for the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) and the ACEC Research Institute, where he also serves as Executive Committee Treasurer. In addition, he is the Vice Chairman of the Board for Flint Hill School in Oakton, Va. Most recently, Mike joined the President's Innovation Advisory Council at George Mason University and has become involved with the D.C. Chapter of Conscious Capitalism.
