Rob Witwer

Rob Witwer serves as the Chief Legal Officer and Senior Vice President of Asset Management for Onward Energy, overseeing legal, compliance, regulatory, government affairs, and asset management functions for the independent power producer. With a legal career spanning over two decades, Rob has held significant roles including General Counsel at both Onward Energy and Southwest Generation, and Partner at Kamlet Reichert, LLP. Rob's experience includes legislative service as a State Representative in the Colorado House, as well as positions at MillerCoors, Hogan Lovells, and the Colorado Department of Natural Resources. Currently, Rob also lectures in the Masters of the Environment Program at the University of Colorado. Academic credentials include a Juris Doctor from the University of Chicago Law School and a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Amherst College.
