Sridhar Setty

Sridhar Setty has over three decades of experience in the engineering and software domains, currently serving as Director and General Manager of CAE at Onward Technologies Inc since May 2010, where responsibilities include setting up simulation-driven engineering offshore development centers and building CAE competence. Prior experience includes roles as a Consultant, assisting clients with software product scoping, and Lead Software at MSC Software, where Sridhar developed GUI test automation tools and established a Project Management Office. Previous positions include Manager-CAE roles at Tooltech Software and Visual Collaboration Technologies, overseeing various CAE projects and teams, and foundational work as a Scientific Officer at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, contributing to high-pressure nuclear equipment design and software development. Educational qualifications comprise a PGDST in Software from the National Centre for Software Technology, a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Thiagarajar College of Engineering, and training in Nuclear Engineering and Science at BARC Training School.
