Miro Caban

Miro Caban, PhD, is an experienced professional in product management and engineering, currently serving as Manager of Product Management at ONWARD Medical since April 2016. Miro's role involves harmonizing the Product Owner process across the company's portfolio and overseeing the feature roadmap for active implantable medical devices, specifically in spinal cord stimulation. Miro's academic background includes an Industrial PhD in Neuroprosthetic Control Systems from École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne, where doctoral studies were conducted in collaboration with ONWARD, along with a Master of Science and engineering title in Applied Physics from EPFL. Previous positions include leading a university spin-off, working as a scientific assistant and research assistant at various research institutes, and contributing to projects focused on neuromodulation and rehabilitation technologies.
