Robert Odell

Robert Odell has an extensive work experience in the medical device industry. Robert is currently working as the VP, Operations at ONWARD since 2023. Before that, they served as a Member of the Board of Directors at CIDT Holdings, Inc. starting from 2022.

Robert's notable role was as the President & Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Cardiac Insight, Inc. from 2013 to 2022. In this position, they were responsible for managing all aspects of the business, including product launch, manufacturing, support, regulatory compliance, marketing, technology, and sales. Robert successfully led the company from development to production and eventual exit.

Prior to that, they worked as an Entrepreneur & Advisor in their own venture from 2012 to 2020. Robert also served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Senior VP Strategy, Design, Operations at Cardiac Science from 2007 to 2012. During their tenure, they oversaw global operations, product development, IT, product management, manufacturing, service, and regulatory/quality.

Robert held the position of Senior Director, Business Unit Management, Echocardiology at Siemens Medical Solutions in 2006 and Vice President & General Manager of Medical Computed Tomography at Analogic Corporation from 2005 to 2006.

In 2002, Robert worked as the VP Marketing & Product Development at Medtronic, Inc., where they were responsible for restructuring functions and developing long-term plans for products, services, and customer education.

Prior to that, they held various roles at GE Healthcare - OEC from 1998 to 2002, where they successfully integrated an acquisition and held three concurrent VP titles in Engineering, Marketing, and IT/Ecommerce. Robert also contributed to the growth of the OEC division.

Robert's early experience includes working as the Senior Director of Design Assurance at Philips Health Systems from 1995 to 1998.

Robert Odell obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from Syracuse University from 1980 to 1982. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Phoenix from 2000 to 2002. Additionally, Robert has an unspecified certification in Six-Sigma.
