Stéphane Béfahy

Stéphane Béfahy is a Medical Device Development Specialist with over 17 years of experience in active implantable medical device innovation. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at ONWARD since 2019, they manage the development of spinal cord stimulation systems and oversee quality management and risk assessment processes. Previously, Stéphane held various roles including Project Leader at both Livanova and Sorin Group, and was VP QA/RA & Director of Mechanical Engineering at Nexeon MedSystems. Stéphane earned a PhD in Material Science from Université catholique de Louvain, where they also completed a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering.
