Max Derhak

Principal Scientist at ONYX Graphics

Max Derhak has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Max began their career in 1990 at Onyx Graphics, Inc., where they have been a Principal Scientist since then. In 1990, they also worked as a Developer at Onyx Graphics, Inc. Max joined ICC in 2005 as the AWG Chair. In 2011, they became the Vice Chair and later the Co Chair at the International Color Consortium until the present. Additionally, Max has served as the Short Course Chair at IS&T CIC from 2010 to 2011. Throughout their career, Max has contributed extensively to various organizations in the field of graphics and color.

Max Derhak has a strong education background. From 1984 to 1991, they attended the University of Utah, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Following this, from 2000 to 2005, they attended the Rochester Institute of Technology and earned a Master of Science degree in Imaging Science. Finally, from 2009 to 2015, Max pursued a Ph.D. in Color Science at the same institution.
