Sivan Tehila's work experience begins in 2006 when they joined the IDF as an Information Security Specialist. Sivan later became the Information Security Officer and eventually the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of the Israel Defense Intelligence (IDI) Analysis Division. During their time in the IDF, they managed cyber security, conducted auditing and risk evaluations, and implemented training and awareness programs.
In 2015, Tehila joined Rafael Advanced Defense Systems as an Information Security Officer, where they specialized in cyber and computer crimes and was responsible for pre-employment screening and sensitive positions.
In 2018, Tehila worked as a Cyber Security Consultant at Dor Information Technologies, where they provided consulting services in the field of cyber security.
Also in 2018, Tehila joined Israel Railways Ltd., where they established a Cyber Security Operations Center (CSOC) and partnered with the CISO and CIO to develop a comprehensive security vision and strategy for the organization. Sivan also managed security for ICS, SCADA, and IIOT systems.
In 2019, Tehila joined Perimeter 81 as the Director of Solution Architecture, where they provided technical guidance on integration and delivered thought leadership on strategic implementations.
From 2019 to 2021, Tehila served as an Adjunct Professor in the MS in Cybersecurity program at Yeshiva University.
In 2020, Tehila became a Cybersecurity Mentor and Educator at Manhattan High School for Girls, where they developed a unique cybersecurity and digital transformation program for high school students.
In 2021, Tehila became an Advisory Board Member at siberX, and in 2022, they founded Onyxia, serving as the Founder & CEO of the dynamic cybersecurity performance management platform.
Additionally, Tehila has held the position of Program Director and Professor in the MS in Cybersecurity program at the Katz School at Yeshiva University since 2021.
Sivan Tehila has a diverse education history.
