Onyxpected Labs was founded by a data professional for data professionals. Our platform is built from decades of hands-on experience diagnosing and operating some of the world’s most complex production systems - with a focus on how infrastructure and applications actually behave under load, change, and constraint.

Our founder, David Klee, has spent his career optimizing high-performing SQL Server data platforms and tracing issues across the full system stack: hardware, virtualization and cloud, storage, networking, and operating systems. That work exposed a persistent gap - modern environments lacked tools that clearly answered what’s happening, why it matters, and how to fix it across interacting layers of the system.

Onyxpected Labs exists to close that gap, for the people that carry responsibility for keeping systems stable, performant, and reliable - even as the environments underneath them continue to change.

Our platform, Provadati, continuously evaluates Windows Server system state, identifies risk by priority, and delivers findings that explicitly call out what needs attention, why it matters, and how to address it. Instead of relying on static thresholds or alert volume, the platform focuses on contextual diagnosis - pairing insight with environment-specific guidance teams can act on immediately.
