Senior Manager, Client Services at Ookla

Ahmed Soliman has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Ahmed started their career as a Professional Services Engineer at Nokia and Booz Allen Hamilton, where they successfully delivered installation, configuration, and integration of Alcatel-Lucent IN/VAS solutions globally. During this time, they also played a key role in expanding IN-Prepaid services for Djezzy in Algeria.

Ahmed then joined Ericsson, where they held various positions such as Senior Services Engineer, Senior Solutions Architect, and ultimately became the Global Professional Services Hub Lead. In these roles, they demonstrated their expertise in designing and implementing solutions and leading a team responsible for global professional services.

Moving on to Microsoft, Ahmed took on the role of Manager, Technical Sales Specialists | EMEA. Ahmed established and managed a 13-person unit specializing in solutions sales for MS Dynamics SaaS, focusing on Corporate and SMB customers across EMEA. In this role, they successfully led through organizational change and drove Microsoft's sales modernization efforts.

Currently, Ahmed is working at Ookla as a Technical Account Manager. Ahmed is responsible for managing relationships with clients within the Telecom & ISPs, Financial Services, Online Services, Gaming, Social Media, and Entertainment industries. Additionally, they contribute to the product evolution and growth of the Downdetector Enterprise by developing new strategies and helping clients leverage its capabilities. Effective from 2023, they have been promoted to the role of Senior Manager, Client Services.

Ahmed Soliman has a diverse education history. Ahmed also holds a Diploma in Business Finance, a Diploma in Strategy Development and Innovation, and a Diploma in High Performance Sales and Business Development from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, although the specific months of completion are not provided. Furthermore, they obtained a Diploma in Project Management from RITI in February 2012.
