Alfred Toh has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry. Alfred began their career at Ericsson as a Network Engineer in 2011 and worked there until 2014. Alfred then moved to Huawei, where they worked as a Solution Architect from 2014 to 2020. In 2020, Alfred Toh joined Ookla as a Technical Account Manager, where they engaged with clients in the APAC North Asia region to optimize the utilization of Ookla's product suite. In 2022, they were promoted to Client Services Senior Manager and then to their current role as Client Services Director, which they started in January 2023.

Alfred Toh received a Specialization in Data Science from The Johns Hopkins University in 2018 through Coursera. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunications Engineering from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman in 2010 and a Diploma in Telecommunications Engineering from Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology in 2007. In addition to their formal education, Alfred obtained multiple certifications including Practical Machine Learning, Regression Models, Exploratory Data Analysis, and R Programming through Coursera in 2018. Alfred also received the Ericsson Technical Certification Program - Radio Access Networks from Ericsson in 2013.
