Chris Haslett

Product Manager at Ookla

Chris Haslett has extensive work experience in teaching, mobile network technology, and product management. Chris worked as a Product Manager at Ookla, managing the development of SpatialBuzz, a product that provides targeted background device measurements to inform optimization and network evolution projects. Prior to this, they taught at Castle Hill Primary School for six years as a Tutor for 9-11-year-olds and ran after-school clubs, and served as a Teaching Assistant at Avenue Primary School, helping teachers in their work and teaching gifted and talented mathematics students. Haslett's earlier career involved roles such as Mobile Networks Technology Specialist at Mesaplexx, Principal Propagation Adviser at Ofcom, and Head of Training at AIRCOM International. Chris began their career in academia as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Glamorgan and taught there for 11 years.

Chris Haslett obtained a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Greenwich between 1981 and 1984. Chris then pursued a Ph.D. in Radio Propagation at the University of South Wales, where they studied from 1985 to 1996.
