Mike Dano is the Lead Industry Analyst at Ookla, where they analyze and report on trends in the telecommunications industry. They previously held various roles in journalism, including Executive Editor for FierceMarkets Telecom Group and Editorial Director for Light Reading, focusing on mobile and 5G technologies. Mike began their career as an intern reporter at both the Albuquerque Tribune and Albuquerque Journal. They earned a bachelor’s degree in Print Journalism from The University of New Mexico.
