Zach Harris

Zach Harris has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the technology and creative industries. Zach is currently working as a Platform Engineer at Ookla, starting in December 2022. Prior to this, from December 2018 to September 2022, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Postlight, where they also briefly held the role of Software Engineer from June to December 2018.

Before their time at Postlight, Zach was the Co-Founder and CTO of Galatea.Design, a company specializing in narrative design for immersive media such as VR and video games. Zach held this role from October 2016 to February 2018.

In 2015, Zach worked as a Software Engineer at SnapMobile, where they developed and deployed mobile apps for clients. Zach was responsible for working with both the Google Play and Apple App Store.

In the same year, they also had an internship at The Uprising Creative, where they worked as a Creative Web Engineering Intern. Zach'sresponsibilities included building responsive websites and integrating APIs from popular social media platforms.

Prior to their work in the technology industry, Zach gained experience in the entertainment industry. From August 2011 to February 2015, they worked at The Windish Agency as an Agency Associate. Zach handled various tasks such as show settlement, guest list coordination, and reviewing performance offers.

Earlier in their career, Zach worked at Union Productions/Club Downunder in multiple roles including Talent Buyer, Event Manager, and Hospitality Manager. During their time there, they booked and managed over 120 shows, negotiated with agents, and managed show budgets.

Overall, Zach Harris has a strong background in technology, with experience in software engineering, platform development, and immersive media design. Zach also has experience in the entertainment industry, particularly in talent buying and event management.

Zach Harris completed their Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy from Florida State University, from 2007 to 2011. In 2010, they took part in an Intensive French program at L'Institut Catholique de Paris. Prior to their university studies, they attended Satellite High School, where they obtained their high school diploma from 2003 to 2007.

Additionally, Zach Harris obtained the certification of AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in April 2019.
