Jose Salas

Jose Salas is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in Site Reliability Engineering and Systems Administration, currently serving as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Ooma, Inc. since February 2021. Prior to this role, Jose worked at Oracle for over eight years in various capacities, including IT Architect and Principal Software Engineer, with significant responsibilities in telemetry services, programmable infrastructure using Docker and Terraform, and leading teams in system enhancement and development. Jose's career began at The Vantive Corporation as an IT Systems Administrator, where foundational skills in project planning and vendor relations were developed. Jose holds an ASE in Electronics and has pursued further education at San José State University.
