Michael Ruan

Michael Ruan is a highly skilled Lead Engineer with extensive experience in frontend web application development and team coordination. Currently at Ooma, Inc., since November 2022, Michael focuses on building React applications, leading code structure communications, and participating in UI discussions. Prior to this role, Michael has been a Lead Engineer at OnSIP since November 2018, where responsibilities included managing web application releases, performing code reviews, and leading frontend improvements. Michael's background also includes serving as a Hacker-in-Residence at App Academy, as well as experience in clinical research coordination at Stony Brook Medicine and pharmacy assistance. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Neuroscience from Stony Brook University and a Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience from Boston University.
