Rob van Boxtel

Rob van Boxtel has extensive experience in healthcare management and governance. Currently serving as Manager of both the Oncological Center and the Oncology Unit at Medisch Centrum Leeuwarden since June 2015, Rob also holds a position as a member of the Supervisory Board at Zorggroep Oosterlengte since January 2018. In addition, Rob is a co-owner of Slim Gevonden B.V. and has been the Chair of ZaZazorg since December 2016, supporting families in Friesland with seriously ill children. Previous roles include Director a.i. at Antistollingscentrum Oost Nederland in 2015, and various leadership positions at Stichting Timpaan Groep from 2010 to 2019. Earlier career highlights include serving as Director and Executive at ROS Friesland from 2007 to 2013, and holding a secretarial position with D66 Zuidwest Friesland. Rob's academic background includes a degree in Healthcare from Maastricht University and studies at Tilburg University.
