ootiboo is a UK based Community Interest Company dedicated to fostering real-life learning, creativity and playful exploration for primary aged children. Through workshops in schools, craft challenges at home and engaging competitions for the whole family, ootiboo encourages problem-solving and out-of-the-box thinking to develop core essential skills for children in an uncertain world.

ootiboo has developed over 40 projects, built a network of 286 schools in 23 countries and delivered a range of creative and real-life learning workshops to over 7,600 students.

ootiboo works closely with Farshore, a division of HarperCollins Publishers, who support many of our projects through funding and generous book donations. Through Farshore we have been fortunate to work with brands like Mr. Men & Little Miss, Winnie-the-Pooh and celebrities including Deborah Meaden and Ant & Dec.

Our ongoing relationship with OakNorth Bank has enabled us to build a successful financial literacy workshop programme. This has been expanded further with support from the Port of Dover, targeting schools in Kent. To date over 4,500 students have benefitted from these workshops.

ootiboo runs intergenerational craft competitions throughout the year to celebrate creativity of all ages, and to help build visibility of the ootiboo brand. For our monster-themed 2025 competition ootiBOO! we received 884 entries from around the globe. In total, we have received over 14,000 entries from 50 countries across all competitions and craft activities.

Through our projects and activities we are keen to give children a voice. This was best highlighted with our Blue Marble project, where 12 children were chosen to have their video question answered by the crew of the Fram 2 space mission while they orbited Earth in Spring 2025.

ootiboo is planning to grow, and is looking for philanthropic investors and CSR funding. Please get in touch if you would like to find out more and help support the next generation.
