Nina Cardenas

Nina Cardenas currently serves as a Field Application Specialist at OPAL-RT Technologies since March 2023. Previously, Nina worked as a Hardware Software Developer at Circulus Agtech, where responsibilities included redesigning a liquid nutrient analyzer prototype and successfully reducing input material requirements by 40%. As a Research Assistant at McGill University, contributions were made to automate UAV imagery analysis for crop fields, utilizing Python libraries such as OpenCV and Rasterio to gather insights on yield and health. Earlier experience includes a role as a Software Project Intern at Circulus Agtech focused on automating liquid nutrient analysis technology, along with providing calculus tutoring at McGill University. Nina holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Bioresource Engineering from McGill University, completed in 2022.
